We’re glad you found us!
Our chapter is a growing community of people – mental and behavioral health therapists, researchers, educators, students, healthcare professionals, etc. – who share a common interest in the work that is going on in the contextual behavioral sciences including, but not limited to, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relational Frame Theory (RFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Functional Analytic Therapy (FAP), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
Our overriding mission is to foster the development of contextual behavioral practice, science, and community service within the Pennsylvania and greater Philadelphia region (i.e., PA, NJ, DE). To that end, we conduct regular clinical trainings, host networking events, produce and distribute a newsletter, and run a listserv, among other activities. We are always working to increase member networking, participation, and referrals, and to increase our impact on the community at large.
